What are the special attractions at Dean’s Blue Hole, Bahamas?

Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas is a unique travel destination that simply should be on every traveller’s list! You can do a guided day trip to visit this popular vacation spot or get the directions to go there on your own.

As the name suggests, it is a blue hole in the ocean waters. The water is crystal clear and the beach is spectacular. The “hole” is a deep blue patch place within the ocean. Some even say it is the deepest hole in the world! You'll be surprised to see that the deep waters are very close to the shore.

The beach is a special attraction in itself. If you want to visit a place that is great for diving or just a place to relax, this is it. This area is not recommended for deep sea diving, however, as the waters and some parts of the beach are choked with seaweed. However, the beach is one long strip of wonderfulness you don't want to miss!

You can dive, snorkel around the edges of the hole and view many different species of fish and other sea life, swim in the clear water, or relax on this beautiful beach. You can even jump - high cliff diving is one of the major attractions. Make sure you pack a lunch to spend a whole day there to truly enjoy the spectacular vistas.
